Game Problem

I installed a new game to my computer but can't get it to work (Nascar Thunder 2003), I can open, change options, choose cars, drivers, etc. except playing it, when it starts loading the screen goes black as if it was loading, then it just exits and goes back into windows.

I only have this problem with this game, so far. I've only had this computer for two weeks.
