blown mobo

i have a gigabyte mobo and sometimes it says it can't read the keyboard or sometimes it won't read the cdrom. but then i'll shut it off, and it'll work. i have good ide cables and a good keyboard(as far as i can tell). does all this indicate a bad board?

when was the last time you gave your PC a good cleaning?

at which point do you get errors: n the bios or in windows?

it will read the keyboard error in the post but it only happens sometimes. it won't read cd-rom in windows only sometimes.
