I hope that ya usin' a legal version of XP otherwise ya'll get no help here as usin' that device shouldn't be a problem unless it's defective (have ya tried it in another PC?). : peace2:

I most certainly am and all 8 PC's with XP are fully updated (all are OEM versions with SP1 included).

I doubt it but is your's fully updated and have ya loaded all the mobo drivers on the CD that came with the mobo? Also did ya check it in another PC to make sure that it's not just faulty device? Do ya have ya USB controllers enabled in the BIOS? :?:

            Hi there,

Thanks for your help, everything is working fine now, I just
loaded extra stuff from the motherboard cd.

            thanks again.
