I found a list of free proxy servers but can't for the life of me figure out how to set one up in IE 6.0. How do you get these things to work?

Well, that's an interesting page. There's an RMIT proxy on there. (I work for them...) Didn't know they had a public one.

To set this up in IE 5.5 (and i'm assuming 6), you go to Tools - Internet Options - Connections - LAN Settings.. The proxy information goes in there.

be wary of open proxies. when using it all yer internet goes through it, if they got logging on(which they probably do) then they get yer usernames and passwords logged.

I found one that worked but you set it up through dialup settings instead of lan.:)
