can you guys also help me with my CPU fan problem?

When i on the PC my cpu fan doesnt spin and after a while the
msg cpu fan not working pops up.

I tried all combinations of the fan wiring to the cpu fan plug also no use red, blue, black wires all tried the combos still doesnt spin.

Is it possible fan spoil or motherboard spoil.

Can you guys tell me whats cpu selector switch used for?

Yes, I agree with Wiggo, get attach another fan and see if it works, if it does then get a new fan.

If you want to know for sure disconnect your fan from the motherboard and locate a spare plug from the power wiring to your drives. If you don't have a spare unplug the CDROM or something. Run a jumper from black on the fan to black on the power bundle, and from red on the fan to YELLOW (+12 volts) on the power bundle. If the fan doesn't spin its a bad fan. If you aren't comfortable with doing this (if you think you'll blow up your power supply or MB - unlikely but possible) just buy another fan. In general, they're cheap.

If it is the MB connection, you don't need a new MB - just tap the fan into the power bundle directly and let it run full bore all the time.
