HELP, I just bought a used Compaq Armada 7800 Laptop. NO Ope

To make a long story short.
I bought a used Compaq Armada 7800 Laptop from E Bay and it came with NO Operating System.
It has the Interchangable CD and Floppy drive.
It's in DOS right now. I want to put Windows 98 on there.
I have Windows 2nd Edition on CD and I also have a Windows 98
2nd edition boot floppy.
I already tried installing it from the CD but the CD drive is not being recogized. When i tried installing the 98 boot floppy it wanted me to boot from the CD. I then took out the floppy drive and replaced it with the CD drive. It didn't work.
How do i install 98?

When you use the Win98SE startup disk, it attempts to load a common set of CD drivers. It's possible that your new laptop doesn't work off a standard driver.

Try checking out the Compaq site to see if your model of laptop requires a different CD-ROM driver.
