Yes we attach it by going into browse and finding it on your hd, however I dont think that option is working at the present time.
So if you have it saved on your webpage you could link it here instead.

By going to http:// and putting the addy in there.

Nice to see your getting the hang of the smilies :D

Notice the nice surves, the overall well kept paint, and the big ugly scratches on the front lower spoiler, because im a dumass!:knife:

JediAgent

well if you saw it in 1600x1200 or you drov it everyday like i do, you'd begin to pull your hair out because of those damn scratches that belittle the entire car, and make your whole day suck. oops thinking out loud again.

and this is what i would someday like it to look like...

Notice this one has the turbo front end (i'd need a conversion kit), the sunroof works, and there are body lines on the door. (ill never do that)

This is a stock turbo model. I'd like to get my windows tinted and put '92 Carrera 2 rims on it (those phone dials are U-G-L-Y)

But other that that..

You actually have one of those, right?

what is 157 kW in Hp? and 357 Nm in ft/lb?
Then tell me the curb weight.
And finally, the Moose will come up with something neither of us expected.

If you had read the forum, you would have noticed that attached pics was down when i started this thread - hence Wiggo's post somewhere up there. Only now have i posted because that option came back.
And of course you would beat me, you have a mustang with a V8 - normally good competition) but you just said on another thread that you were gonna use forced air induction - whipple i think.

Mine is stock, wait till i get the head rebuilt and the intake, exhaust, chip, cam, headers, 9" wide C2 whels in the back, short throw shift kit, and we race for ****s and giggles....

....wait. I just saw the mustang. Is that an svt or just a regular V8? What have you done to it?
Sadly enough, if that is a stock Stang, i would beat you. I've done it to other stang like yours before, as well as the new V6 and V8 (NOT THE SVT, THEY GOT ME) Have fun with the whipple thou, that would give you the edge.

No, you don't beat 99+ GT's (V8's). they run 245 rwhp from the factory. and the Cobras "SVT'S" run close to 300. at the wheels. When I get back from saudi i will be running around 360 RWHP....and then there is the head/intake swap, cam, etc. cars are fun...

JediAgent

Three days after i bought the car i raced a 99+ GT (i didnt know the guy, but i know the bodystyle) and i won. It didnt look like he was shifting, so i assume it was an automatic. And the rear of the car said GT, and there were two extruding tailpipes like what the factory gives those cars. I won. Now either he had a 6 and spent a good deal of money to make it look exactly like a GT, or it was a GT. If i ever see him again i'll ask just for you, but i tend to believe it was a GT. And since i timed myself with my mechanics computer in a 0-60 run at 6.64 i also think i won. Im not sure what mustangs do thou.

Oh, and none of the cars you mentioned are pushing that many horsies to the Rear Wheels. 99% of every Hp quote you have ever heard has been at the flywheel. The new Mustangs push out 260 and over 300 at the flywheel. Not the rear wheels. A stock GT will push only 210 at the wheels. You will also be pushing 360 at the flywheel. Go do a dyno and ask the guy doing it what the difference is, and exactly what your car does. He'll tell you the same thing i did.

bah!

Jedi you would kick a stangs arse if you spent the same amount on your car as wiz will on his Stang...

Porches engines totally rock :D

Remember Kiddies...it's not the over all power...it's Power + Weight that wins the race ;)

Thank you Moose. :)
Correction - its Power + Weight + The Efficiency that the car places those ponies on the ground. The Porsche seems to do it quite well since i can beat GT's with only 147 Hp under my hood (125- ish RW)

And i wanted to know what:.
Max Power (kW/rpm) 157 kW/4900rpm
Max Torque (Nm/rpm) 357 Nm/3000rpm
was in Hp and ft/lbs.

You say its an inline 6, not a V6? What does it weigh?
Nice big 6 cylinder, too bad those max figures are so low in the curve (RPM) a good race motor has a nice horizontal parabolic curve that keeps going up in power till redline. Its not a race car thou, so i got NO beef. :thumb:

Moose

157KW = 210HP

And it's to many beers into the night to work the other one out :p

Ford don't use a V6 :)

head over to www.mustangworld.com and go to thier forums, register and post your specs and see if a 99+ GT would take you. you beat that automatic prolly cuz he wasnt racing. 0-60 in 6.67? thats not much to brag about son, i rip it off in high 5's. (especially for yours being mid engine, rear drive, and mine front engine rear drive). As far as the HP numbers, no, i dont worry about bhp, it means nothing, rwhp is what counts, and i was NOT mistaken, the gts put 260 to the ground, my 96 only puts down 193. put a set of 99+ "P" heads on and i would be up about 25-35 rwhp. (the 99+s have better trannies too).

Moose: there is a dude on the forums on mustangworld who has a 2000 Cobra with a Vortech supercharger running like 410rwhp. its insane, he runs like 11.70 or so. not too bad. :D

Thats a lame excuse for knowing my 15 year old Porsche (front engine rear wheel drive) can whoop on your favorite new car, and your car when it was stock, for that matter. I can beat GT's and he was trying :D

HAHAhahahaha

THIS WAS A GOOD THREAD, especially after our emails before you ever sent me this thread Jedi.

THAT STANG would get smoked either way. Like I was telling Jedi in an email prior to me ever knowing this discussion.

My first car was an 86 Porche 944 "Concourse" =show car.
Perfect show condition. I added floor mats since it was being shown, and an 89' Turbo posi rear end when I did the clutch. I taught my wife how to drive a stick in it. Bad and good idea, just cost me quite a bit, and some time. For those who don't know. The engine and bell housing is in front, torque tube to the rear end, where the transaxle is located. So the whole rear end has to come completely off the car, suspension and all.
This is of course for racing, front/rear weight distribution.
I raced it at quite a few Porsche Concourse events held at Candle Stick park in San Fransisco.
I raced a buddy of mine after he bugged me for weeks. Granted we were both mechanics, and competetive there as well. Who knew more, ect. Obviously he didn't do his homework!
He had an 89' IROC Z28 with a TON of money into it. We were both in the military too at the time, and had just gotten back from Saudia, when Saudia was FUN, got to go to Bahrain, downtown Riyahd all the time ect.

ANYWAY, as I was saying to Jedi. Mine was stock with the phone dials (BTW JEDI)(which looked sweet on the dark grey paint).
I EVEN smoked my tires for a bit off the line and STILL beat him by about 1 1/2 lengths in the 1/4!
HE WAS SO PISSED. HE WANTED A REMATCH EVER DAY! I said it wouldn't do him any good except to blow his motor cause he would KILL it just to say he won.

Anyway, a 4 CYL. properly built will smoke a V8!

END OF STORY!
