Book Catalog software

I'm after a good program to catalog books, something like DVD profiler which will download all the information from the internet.

The best i've found so far is book collector from http://www.collectorz.com/book/

The problem with it is that I'd like to be able to select a series and then say which ones out of the series i've got, the one from collectors makes you download info for each individual book seeing that i've got approx 800 books & 2,500 ebooks, thats going to take way too long:devil:

i suppose creating your own simple database is out of the question?

nah that'd be easy but It wouldn't get most of the information from the internet.

You have my deepest sympathy on this one KHeldar, after 5 1/2
hours or so of extensive web search for Book Collectors/sellers
software.......man, ain't nothing worth having for free and the
best cost near $1,500 usd. I did manage to find a premium
OSS totally free that runs on any system, MS/Linux/Mac and even has Mozilla Gecko browser...............ah but alas, it is mainly for Libraries and requires much including a server.:shrug:
