I must say, it looks like a very nice product.. But here's the big question: What would you recommend? The Extigy or the Audigy? Internal vs External... Firewire vs not.... sweet looking on the outside vs a PCI card.... that's the question on everyone's lips.. (well, mine.. that's enough.. :) )

Are there any issues regarding CPU utilization since the thing is USB? I got one to test compatibility with and i noticed that on a p3/800 it utilizes the CPU a lot, but on a 1.2 ghz Athon or a 2 ghz p4 the CPU utilization drops considerably and the sound quality kicks up a notch.

Whats really cools is that you can use the thing as a Dolby AC-3 receiver without attaching it to a PC. They costs under $150[US] and are similar to a $250+ Dolby decoder in performance.
