Silicon Image SIL3112A SATA Host Controller PCI (BIOS Issue)

Can someone explain, step by step, how to upgrade the bios for this card?
I've upgraded the BIOS on my motherboard, but can't quite figure out the add-on BIOS upgrade.

If ya've downloaded the BIOS update for it then it should have a readme with it that gives step by step instructions on how to apply the update.

I found this link while reading up on the motherboard I have. Hopefully, your BIOS will have a similiar method of flashing/updating as mine does. If it doesn't, you can try following the link to the Silicon Image sight and poking around there for ideas.
