  • Networking Problem

I am runnin Windows xp pro on two computers. The first computer has an adsl usb modem which enables connection to the first computer. this has a router card with 4 outputs, this then goes down the cable to the second computer which has a network card in it. I am trying to split the internet connection (if if need a hub i have one of theese to) i have no idea what i am doing i dont even know if it is possible to do it with the stuff i have got. The router is a card which slots into the computer its not like the standard router its actually a card! Help will greatly be appreciated thankyou very much. Tom.

Have you used your Internet Connection Wizard?

It should allow you to set the one computer up as an internet gateway and allow the other computer to access thru it

I've always been able to find answers to my networking problems here

Hope ya get it up and running
