Well, I have finally narrowed my new gpu selection down to 2 cards, the 9600xt or a 9500pro. I know that in most cases, the cards run exactly the same, but if they are oced, does one start to pull ahead? I realize that the 9500 has slower clock speeds, but the extra 4 pipelines seem to help quite a bit. As well, do any retailers still sell 9500np's with L-Shaped memory? Cause if I could, I would think about snatchin one of those up. Thx for any info!

how much is the 9600XT?
chances are that the 9800 will not be much more, if you could afford it then it would be a much better purchase.
it might be difficult to find anywhere that still sells the 9500 as its a discontinued card

9500pro's are better, but they tend to be hard to find anymore. http://www.tweaktown.com/forums/images/smilies/beerchug.gif

The 9600xt is $200cdn without tax. See, I know that sapphire still sells the radeon 9500np and pro, so thats why Im wonderin. Now all I need to do is find somebody in Canada who still stocks them...
