  • Ram question

This is the ram I have, I have a Abit NF-7 S and an AMD XP 3200+, I was wondering what the best divider for my ram is (I know 1:1). In the Bios though I get 4:4 4:3 4:2 etc up to 6:6, 4:4 5:5 6:6 run at 400 mhz (what I want) would there be any difference from 4:4 and 6:6 ?

Actually the first number is telling you the PCI divider being used (so 4 = 133MHz/266DDR, 5 = 166MHz/266DDR and 6 = 200MHz/400DDR) so for a 200MHz/400DDR FSB you should be using the 6:6 setting (unless your memory is rated below PC3200 then you would use a setting with the 2nd number lower, eg; PC2700 use 6:5 setting).
