  • question..

    I was wondering if i ould build computers for people, but i would have to include an os with it, but i think i read a post on here a while ago that said suttin about it but i cant find it. So what do i ahev to do to legally build comps for poeple and they buy them with os and everything?

    I'm not quite sure what you're getting at, but...

    What many people who do that (and the big companies, too) do is provide OEM copies of Windows XP with the computer. These copies come at reduced cost, but can't legally be put on any computer other than the one they're first put on. It saves money for the builder and for the buyer. Most regular users won't know what to do with a retail copy of XP anyway.
