p/s stuffed????

hey guys!

on my daughters pc if you bump the power lead it usually kills power then restarts the pc! tried a few diff power cables but still the same. should I open up the p/s and check for loose wires or just give it the flick and get a new p/s? it's a generic 400 watt job just over 12 months old.

You probably just aren't getting it in securely.

I have had that problem before-------usually it happens if you are plugging it in to a wall socket. You aren't doing that, are you? I wouldn't plug my computer in if I didn't have a surge protector.
