View Full Version : Best Screensaver ?

I've been looking for a 3D screensaver for a long time that really uses my hardware ( GF3 Ti500 ) and so far I've been unsuccessful... Does anyone know of some really great looking GL or DX screensavers out there ? Something like the Nvidia GF3 lizard demo only in a screensaver :D

There is a good Matrix screen saver somewhere - It isn't that intensive but it is more powerful than others.

would it be <a href="http://members.optushome.com.au/andy_lee01/Matrix%20Code%20Emulator.scr">this one</a> by any chance?

Goto 3DMark2k1, set demo to infinite loop, then run it. There ya go, the flashiest screen saver.

*shrug* if your moniter is going to idle u mite as well have some eye-candy...even if it's just to piss of my sister like me:afro:

Yeah the screensaver is a pretty useless thing really so if my pc's have been left idle for 15mins then the monitor just shifts to standby mode which is the only power saving function that I use. :smokin:
I've seen some screensavers leave some ugly burns behind on monitors too.

same here, while the the matrix code emulator is really cool...I find my self turning it off and just having no screen saver...i mean, as wiggo said, the monitor just turns off anyway and saves power, why have it running for no reason

I have just come across a very cool looking screensaver at skeletonadventures.com, and I was wondering if anyone has heard about it? I don't like to waste my money and I was hoping someone could tell me about it before I spent anything...it is hard for a girl to make money, and so easy to spend it!

Well, if you know something, please let me know?

Hasn't anyone seen this? http://www.skeletonadventures.com?

Please let me know if you have. I like the look of it, but I really want to know if it is worth the money. I don't normally pay money for screensavers??
