I reinstalled XP on a new hard drive, and now when I'm in Internet Explorer 6, the cursor moves in a jerky manner, as if it's been slowed down. This only happens when I'm in IE...for all other functions on the machine, the cursor moves normally. Is this an issue of transmission from the server, or has it to do with memory on my machine.....I have 512 MB of DDR 2100 memory running on a KT4 Ultra with an XP 2400+ chip, so I don't think it's a lack of memory. Could background applications be slowing it down this much ? Thanks in advance for any help here.
