  • Question about IDE connectors

    i have 1cdwriter,dvdrom, dvdwriter plus 1 hardri ve connected to my mb
    that pretty much takes up all my ide connectors
    i was wondering if i can connect more stuff somehow since i am buying a new hardrive and want to keep using the old stuff

    You could buy a PCI IDE controller card but make sure that it supports ATAPI and is not just for hard drives.

      Get rid of the dvd-rom, there is no need for it anymore since you have a dvd-rw.
