Xp Dialling Up To Win98 Dialup Server

At The moment im trying to setup a network connection between My windows XP home machine and the remote windows 98 first edition which is running a dialup server. With my old machine using 98 it would connect fine and i could get to the drives. But with XP it keeps asking for USERNAME PASSWORD DOMAIN which i have none set at the moment. Does it need an extra protacal installed. ?????
