Right Now I have a Segate 200GB IDE Hard Drive with an 2MB Buffer. What would it be worth my time to upgrade to a SATA Drive if i do Gaming?

SATA alone will not make a difference really but with a larger buffer it would help.

so i should get a SATA with an 8MB buffer.

Or you could just go for an IDE hdd with an 8mb buffer like im currently using a 120gb samsung hdd with 8mb buffer i would have thought though that a 200gb hdd would already have 8mb buffer....oh well u learn something new everyday.

A faster hard drive with a larger buffer isn't going to help most aspects of gaming. An 8MB over a 2MB and SATA might make load times go a little faster, but that's it. Looking at the system in your sig, a new video card would be the next upgrade. If reducing loading times is what you're after, than more RAM would make as much sense as a new hard drive.
