    Which Ram for an Epox 8kha+ mobo w/XP 1800
    256mb Crucial PC2100
    256mb Kingstion PC2100
    256mb OCZ PC2400
    or something else?

                i was just wondering what the difference is between the ddr ram that says CL 2.5 and CL 2.0
                I just bought a new motherboard a GA-7VRXP and now need sum new ddr ram

                  i believe it means cycle speed. 2.5 is faster.

                        I have a 256MB stick of Apacer CAS-2 PC-2100 DDR in my main machine, and it overclocks very, very well. On my Pentium III DDR motherboard (can't really thrash the memory on a Pentium 4 platform), it was running at 144MHz CAS-2 ROCK STABLE, but when I went to 145MHz it fell over..... could be the limitation of my 1GHz Pentium III, but anyway the Apacer RAM is good stuff :thumb:

                          Go for Crucial.

                          That Apacer stuff is cheap & nasty :thumbs do

                          256meg apacer in a p3 and all we got was trouble. Rip it out, chuck some kingmax in and all was good.

                            Corsair XMS2700 would be worth a good look at for that particular board. ;)
