Can't get rid of VX2 spyware

I'm not sure if anybody else has had this same problem, but I seem to have this spyware by DrPMon and Aurora that craps malware all over my registry and system32 folder. I run adaware and highjack in safe mode and I'll personally go through the registry and make sure there are no entries left. I'll restart and bam!, their they are again, 25+ entries of VX2 malware all by the same schmucks. How come this stuff won't get off?

Sounds like they're residing in your system restore. Turn off system restore, clean everything out, reboot and see if they're gone, then re-enable restore, if you're so inclined

Check msconfig or the registry to see what programs startup with the machine. Remove the entries after recording them, then restart in safe mode and delete the files themselves. Run a virus scanner in addition to the spyware scanners.

The cheap way out is to install ad-aware. It is decent and you can get a free vx2 cleaner program.
