NO, ive driven a Delorean - i know what they are. Currently the pic posting system is down, and i cant see his pic of the car. I assumed it was an RX-7 because i've heard him talking about them before. I've seen all three Back to the Future movies more than a dozen times each.

A friend of mine in High School had one, he drove it to school when his dad let him - it was really his dad's. It felt like a friggin tank, not sporty enough fer me (i drive the 944 thou) but it did have power, i still dont know whats in em, but i wouldn't mind driving one everyday. Heaps on the maintenance thou. THE CHICKS DIG THE GULLWING DOORS!

Dauer 962LM Road Car

3 Litre Twin Turbo flat six - 730bhp
0-100km/h in 2.6 seconds  (With road tyres not slicks)
Top speed of a little more than 250 MPH (402.5Km/h)
It was clocked at the VW test track (the giant oval one) doing 406 km
Dam thats fast :D
Cost matches the speed too, US$853000 (something like that)
and you can road register them
and yes it is a race car - they are 962's with a new paint job and a better interior
