  • GA-7VRXP & GeForce4 Ti 4600

I wasn't sure about this one and wanted to no if anyone new if the GA-7VRXP is compatible with the GeForce4 Ti 4600. Oh and what graphics card would u consider to have the best perfomance and value for money. Im planning to by one a.s.a.p.
I was thinking about spending around $200 to $300 on the graphics card

    Thanx

The Gigabyte board you're looking at should have no problems with a GeForce4 board. I haven't heard of any issues between the KT333 chipset and the nVidia GPUs.

As for value, take a look at either the Ti4400 card or one of the Radeon 8500 versions. ATi seems to have a good set of drivers out now, so there shouldn't be any problems.

If you can wait a little while, get a GF4 Ti4200. Good performance and quite cheap - US$179 for 64 meg version and 199 for 128. Otherwise i think a Ti4400 like Darth said - 229$ at pricewatch for the cheapest one:lips:
