I have a motherboard with a VIA chipset (VT82C598MVP,VT82C586B) but there is no manufacturer's name on it. Can it be derived from a serial #? There is no FCC # either. The serial # is M9906019667. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

That is the link for a searchable database for motherboards. Can't say if it will help, but it should narrow down your choices a good bit.

Good luck! :D

Try this one too as it works by the BIOS string code that gets displayed during bootup if the other doesn't help. ;)

use one f the tools at motherboards.org to get your bios id and then get over to www.wimsbios.com to check out the massive list there...
