Battlefield 2 & 6600gt

Im having some trouble with my 6600gt 256 pcie

im running a pentium D 830
2gb ddr2
on an d955 mobo

When playing BF2 (battlefield 2) my screen goes wierd, and it seems only to happen on either half of the scrren at a time.
Please help, my guess (My hope)is it is some sort of software problem as it only seems to be this game, i have attached a screenshot.
What do think?

Downlaod any game updates, download the 77.xx drivers from Nvidia's site....

But more importantly what kind of airflow do you have in your case and what are your operating CPU/case temps if available? Also have you done any ocerclocking on that 6600GT?

I have just done what you recommended, and they have just posted an update 3 days ago.
I tried the game for 30mins and no prob, fingers crossed.
No over clocking
i have a Thermaltake Armour case
fans...
