With F.E.A.R., we have one of the best looking games out there, second only to Doom 3, if it's even that. What's great about F.E.A.R. is that it has a built-in benchmarking feature, so I don't have to bother with any pesky timedemos.
I have three types of configurations I suggest people use so we can compare more accurately.
The first is the Medium test, in which you set the Computer and Graphics settings to Medium.
The second is the High test, in which you set computer to High and put all graphics options on Maximum, but leave off Soft Shadows, AA, and AF.
The third is the Maximum, in which you set both Computer and Graphics to Maximum.
I'd suggest everyone run the test in 1024x768.
Make absolutely sure you leave Vsync off during the test.
Be sure to post your system specs, graphics card driver, resolution, and game version you're running.
