BIOS settings are almost always a matter of choice. If you search around for some BIOS guides, you'll get a good idea as to how to set yours up. But as a rule, only change one or two settings at a time before testing the system out. This will give you an idea to where problems are hiding when the performance drops on you (as it will from time to time). After all, they don't call it tweaking for nothing. :)
