The stupidest PC thing you've been told

The stupidest thing someone has told me could be done was install Windows 98 on an NTFS filesystem. How you could do it: use the Win2k disc to format the partition or drive then can the setup and go on with a 98 install. The worst part was he was telling me he did it at school and that he was gonna 'school' me. Also, and MCSE told him it was impossible.

Them: Im sorry, the only Kingmax DDR we have is PC256meg
Me: Dont you mean 256meg PC2100?
