That is Very nice. I am a woodworker, and I have been considering building myself a wooden case... mine would still look like a computer, but none the less, he figured out ways around some of the obstacles I ran into in my mind as I was designing it...

    Clever..

Yeah, it's great to see some creativity in the modding scene...instead of just the same old window/neon/fans....:thumb:

Yea, to get the buttons to work correctly and everything, THAT would be alot of tinkering...

I bet you those people who made them had critics saying it couldn't be done..... and then they make a work of art like these :)

I feel this could be a new trend in case modding..... timber veneers and the like :?:

Back in February one of the pallets that came in at work had a 40"x48" sheet of plywood like stuff about 3/32" thick between 2 layers of different products, instead of the usual cardboard used as a seperator.
I brought it home with a project just like this in mind.
Fortunately it still awaits, leaning against the wall behind my workstation.

Actually, I really don't want to mod the case I am currently using in that manner as it is already nicely modded to suit my tastes.
And I am hesitant to purchase a case just to throw away the exterior of it --- that seems like such a waste of money:eek:

Anyone know where I can get a case "skeleton" cheap, or have an old full-tower ATX case (11 or 12 bay preferably) that they would like to donate to a stingy woodworker.

I got the tools:thumb: I got the skills, just need a bare-bones case and I'll be ready to make some sawdust.

                            Nicest case I ever seen!!!!
I think the PSU should be turned the other way, to take out the hot air from PCU.

The builder was asked why he mounted the PSU that way and he said that the 2 x 120mm fans were more than enough to keep the Athlon cool in there. :smokin:
