  • Home Networking problem

Am trying to set up Internet Connection Sharing between an XP Home machine and one running Win 98SE. Running and HPNA LAN with no problems. Followed the XP wizard to make it the host and hard coded the IP addresses on the XP machine as 192.168.0.1 and the SE machine as 192.168.0.2. Both are on triple 255 subnet. Can connect to the Network from either machine BUT IE on the client doesn't recognize the connection. Help....

    Thanks.

Does the 98SE machine have a user account on the XP PC?
I do a similar setup here but the 98SE PC is the server as No.1 son uses the XP as a LAN PC so the SE in the permanent cable connection. :smokin:
