I was wondering what motherboards you all really like and why ?

It's so hard just to pick a single company... Right now I'd have to say Epox with their 8K3A+.

like tweaky said, its hard to pick a single company, but i would say Asus, Epox, or Abit

I think Asus puts out good stuff in general. That was a hard thing to just pick 1 (damn you!:cackle: ). MSI is good too.

I don't see an AOpen option anywhere :cry:

The only board I have used from AOpen that sucked was the AP58 (for the Pentium MMX), the AK73 Pro almost joined that list but an extensive series of BIOS updates made it a very stable product :)

even though there not on ur list, soltek soltek soltesoltek soltek soltek soltek soltek soltek soltek soltek soltek, cus there fairly cheap, gud overclockers, come in a nice silver box and the DRV4 + DRV5 are purple!!!! :D

Soltek's own site is found here (http://www.soltek.de/English/home/01.htm), from there you can see specs of their boards, and also they link to review sites that have reviewed their boards, the DRV4 +
DRV5 are nice :D

i dont think ABit's mobos are as good as they used to be...

today, in my opinion, the best motherboards are made by ASUS and EPoX
