My First Overclock of GA-P35C-DS3R with E6320
Hi all
Thought you might like to know about my first ever overclock. I doubt I can push this further as I have RAM that is probably not up to the job. Any suggestions would be appreciated though.
I though I may try and undervolt the CPU a bit more. The fan on the Scythe cooler rarely turns as the P180 has a great throughput of air (and thats on low fan speeds). So I will see just how cool I can go....
Spec:
Antec P180 (Black)
Aerocool Turbine 550w PSU
Core2 E6320 (4Mb cache)
Scythe Ninja cooler
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3R
2Gb Kingston valuRAM DDR2-667
Asus Nvidia 7300GS 256Mb Graphics
Samsung 250gb Sata-300
Maxtor 300gb Sata-300
Now overclocking at 2.3Ghz (30C idle - 47C load) - CPU undervolted to 1.3v
Settings are:
Clock Ratio = x7
CPU Host Frequency = 333
CIA2 = Disabled
System Memory Multiplier (SPD) = 2.0
Memory Frequency = 667
All voltages = (Manual) Normal
CPU Voltage Control = 1.30v
