Drop down boxes

I can't get the basic drop down boxes working........either it'll go to something called --webbot-- which doesn't exist on the server.....or it will go to a blank page.....does anyone know how to get the basic drop down boxes supplied in front page working?

Are you using server side or client side controls?

I wouldn't be able to tell you as I don't have the slightest clue what those are.......I'm assuming client vs server I can only assume that I am the client.....
