you've omitted to install and test the turbomodule on the card
i mean, that's what it's for in the first place

This video card is awesome. I've got idle temps in the low 40's and load temps in mid 60's. That's inside of a Silverstone Sugo SG03, no turbo kit. If installed properly, it doesn't even need the turbo kit. "negative air pressure" within the case should take care of things. The proper instructions do tell you that if you install it, you should do it with more fans blowing out than in. I had it running with no fans except the psu (not recommended, but truely silent), and it was perfect for short gaming sessions. It was fine when I played a few rounds of warrock, but about a dozen minutes on Crysis got to high 80's. So I stopped (my old stock EVGA 8800gt hit 90C's regularly). Got it up to 700/1000, but 740/1000 crashed so i stopped playing with the OC's. I'm trying to get my system stable at 3.5+ghz first.
