GA-81945GZME-RH won't post?

So this might not have that much to do with the Gigabyte motherboard I have, but I've setup everything according to the manual for both the micro atx board and for my Ultra microfly case and upon powering on, everything seems to be running (fans, power leds, temp displays and all), but I just end up with a blank screen. I tried using dvi and vga connectors to both the onboard video and to my nvidia 7900gtx, but no dice.

I am using compatible samsung memory, an intel e6600, and a western digital sata hard drive, so it shouldn't be an incompatibility.

Could someone help me through the exact steps of installation? I fear I may just be missing something.
