I RMAed my board around Feb 9th to California. I was just wondering how long it takes? Do the engineers test the heck out of it and then fix it?:smash: Or do they just send a replacement board?

I have heard many different answers to this, have you contacted them via email? I would at least maybe once a week for a progress report. I wouldnt do it more often and make them mad though

I went through the shop where i bought everything from... Replaced the board because it had 2 faulty memory lanes, and it took i think 4 weeks.. if not possibly 5 at the very most.
The only reason it took that short of a time was because i hassled the computer place and they called the gigabyte replacement place here in AUS.

Gigabyte Australia would have to be the worst in the world for service.
RMA'd my P35c-DS3r and it took EIGHT WEEKSfor it to be returned in exactly the same condition as it was.
RMA'd it again and this time it took SEVEN WEEKS
They only list a web address as their only contact (no phone ,street address).
I will never buy another Gigabyte product again.

Guess they didn't find any bulletholes and then returned it right away.
Sad to hear - how greedy can a large company get?

Got it back after little over a month. I really don't think they touched it. Everything is set at stock and it still takes me on average 3 tries before I get a beep and a post. They do not give you a write up of what they did, what they changed, what they fixed. Nothing! You would think after a month of being there, they could jot down a few words such as "fixed this" or "nothing wrong":plthumbsd

Oh and I'm running an 800w power supply. Tried other power supplies, other memory, other everything.

I had to RMA a socketA 7VAXP a number of years ago, it took about 4 months for the same board (now repaired) to be returned... unfortunately when the cap's on it blew, they also took out just about everything else in the system, and with the extended RMA time on the mobo I had to buy a new one anyway

Great products generally, but their RMA service was (as of a few years ago) utterly terrible
