how to use raid

ok i need some information about raid

so my system is like this

abit kr7a-raid
XP1700
40GB MAXTOR HARDISK ATA100 5400 RPM
256MB SAMSUNG DDR PC2100


CAN SOME WANT TEACH ME HOW TO USE :flames:

when i install xp i farce probem lah because it always said unknow hardisk than i need to switch to normal ide to install xp after installing the driver for the raid the windows than wount show the blue screen

if i install me the windows wount show any problem only xp
if i have one hdd can i use the raid woud it be more faster than the normal ide system

just a starting point:

to use raid, you need at least 2 hard drives, and the raid array will ber the size of the smallest drive in the array, and the speed will be the speed of the slowest drive on the array
