neons or cold cathodes (cc)

I just finished reading the review

and, maybe i read it wrong. But which of the two is brighter?
A cc color light or a neon color light ?
And a cc black uv light or a neon black light ?

I plan to purchase a black light, yet i want to test it in my new case before i purchase. Opinions, goods and bads are all welcome :D

The CC is brighter slightly but the color is much more powerful and not as dull as standard neons.

Does that include the black uv neon and cc ?

I haven't tested them so I couldn't say for sure, but generally I'd say yes, the same would apply.

Go for a CC...they're difinitely worth it IMO.

Read your post on the CC lights in lieu of neon and wanted to know what color light(s) would look good with a new ASUS A7V333 board that appears to have some blue in it. Also, was considering IDE Round cables and was curious would look good with the case lights. Sharing any success stories would be greatly appreciated as we are in the process of researching components for our first family PC build and will be using a Lian li PC82 case.
