  • BD7-RAID ... 12volt sitting @ 11.5v??

(I put this under 'INTEL' thread as well, but I suspect it is motherboard specific.)

The 12V+ line is measuring only around 11.5V+ no matter what I seem to do.

I've tried 2 different 400W supplies and now a 500W, but still the same outcome. It doesn't seem to be causing any problems (that I can detect), but seems very odd.

Any other BD7-RAID people out there having this problem???

Also interested in cpu temp's on this board. Mine sits at about 40 to 42 idle, which I thought was a bit on the high side.

It's quite common to see that but the actual voltage is not the main consideration though but the amount of amps that it's supplying is. So long as the voltage stays around the +/-5% mark it will be fine. :smokin:

      Thanks.....

that probably explains why there have been no other problems then.

The PSU's have each worked fine, just shown up at about 11.5V+ instead of the 12V+ that they are supposed to.

Thought it might have been a BIOS fault or something??
