Guys since i got my computer i installed CS but its the old 1..0.0.0 retail version. I need to find a link (if you guys have one) of the 1.4 patch. Can any of you help out? Thx: peace2:

There's a quicker way... just go to your Start menu, click on Turn off Computer.. It's much more fun that CS. :)

Counter-Strike developers are making great strides in blocking the cheats, starting with the built in anti-cheat server filter.

Yea for sure and its fun to see a cheater get caught...Its almost like laughing at the bad kid in elementry...

Hehe, I have been playing some DOD2 but I dont really like it as much as Counter-Strike quite yet. Right now the only truly nice thing about DOD2 is the revamped GUI.

Why do you say that? I think that with the upcoming release of the new Counter-Strike that it would be a very good move to stay with Counter-Strike and simply play DOD2 a little bit.

The reason for my move away from CS was gameplay. CS is team deathmatch. I found DoD more of a challenge to play.

Plus i hate Waiting in CS if i get killed early in game an the last ppl just camp it out.

Least in DoD at worste u got 15secs.

CS is good but i recently played Navy Seals for Quake3. Even in it's early beta u can see they have a far better concept than CS.
