Setting up for Steam?

What do I need to do to get more servers to my pc? I have broadband to a Belking F5D9230-4. When I'm loading servers for CS i get only 250-300 and when I load for CSS i get about 350.

I tried disabling XP firewall and the router's and I don't have any other software blocking me.



Any info would be great.
