try MOLEX.com
they supplied me with a dfp/dvi adapter for a good price, they are strictly industrial but will (may) send a sample to you

Are you sure that the vid card you have can support two monitors at the same time-- like an extension of the desktop?

Many cards have multiple adapters just to be able to attach to different things, but that doesn't mean the card supports multiple screens all at once.

Future Power - Model 17df75b

I bought them from www.Essencompu.com
Go to the monitor section and it should be on the front page...in the middle...

I bought them for their flat screens and at $159 USD each...i thought it was a great price...

Both are 17" (16" viewable) - .25 Dot Pitch
Anywayz...im at work...post some more replies and ill be back at ya later tonight in NY...i dont know about Aussie...lol

Peace

Hope they last for ya. I am leary of non-mainstream brands.

When were they manufactured?? That is an awful high dot pitch for todays monitors...

Ok guys...i got the monitors...now the thing is...the monitor on the DVI to VGA Adapter gives a cleaner whiter looking output......also something that gets on my nerves...whenever i open a folder and its a big one...the screen shrinks alittle bit...not too much but it is noticible...and it happens on both of them...even when they are not thru nView...anywayz...i just need to get used to this new setup...its cool...now im just thinking why i just spent 400 bucks...lol...well i guess thats the life of a Techie...one cool thing but its not the best is watching Divx movies spanning 2 monitors...ya have to get used to it...but its all good...take care guys...lataz

Oh i have a quick question...whenever i open a folder the white of the background shrinks the monitor resolution...its almost like it squeezes it smaller...but only alittle...but its noticible...and when i close it...the resolution...blends back to normal...what the hell is that all about...here is the link to my monitor if there is any info about it there...but its weird and quite annoying too...take care again

Ok, I did not know that Future Power has been making monitors for a while. If you have had good luck with them, then by all means buy what you trust. :thumb: :thumb:

FireBlazer... how good is your eyesight? -- Unless it is poor, you might consider bumping those resolutions up to 1280 X 1024.... because in that res, the screenshot is almost exactly equal to the top two thirds of my 19" monitor in 1600 X 1200.

You should see a screenshot of my buddies dual 19's both @ 1200 X 1600...

Well in nView i did a horizontal strech...and the resolution is like 2048x768...thats like both monitors at 1024x768. and i do have good eye sight.

I know what you did, I'm saying you should try 2560 X 1024  That would give you

2048 multiplied by 768 = ( 1,572,000 pixels of desktop )
you could switch to:
2560 multiplied by 1024 = ( 2,621,000 pixels of desktop ) (nearly DOUBLE)

My buddy's running 3200 X 1200  ( 3,840,000 pixels of desktop )

And compare your desktop size with mine (one 19" monitor @ 1600 X 1200) ( 1,920,000 pixels of desktop )
