Fixing the Grub boot loader after reinstalling windows. Help

I had windows XP and Linux installed and I used grub as the boot loader.. I recently had a problem with windows so I had to format that partition and reinstall it. I didnt even think About linux and grub. now when my PC boots. It boots straight to windows. Is there any way to fix this to boot from grub again without having to reinstall linux? please help me. thanx

Boot from your boot floppy and reinstall grub.

I didnt mak a bot disk =) I'm stupid.. also. how would I ONLY install grub without installing the OS. I am using Redhat (the newest one)

You can use your install cd as a rescue disk, see this (http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-7.3-Manual/custom-guide/s1-rescuemode-boot.html) page at redhat. When you have it started you can reinstall grub to the mbr with " grub-install /dev/hda"

I tried but it said its not found in /sbin
but I didnt however get to the recovery counsel. anything else I should Try?

You can try reinstalling grub from the redhat cd, back up all your grub conf files, reinstall and then try to reinstall it to the mbr after restoring your conf files.
