  • F Disk

Hello all, not a big problem [if at all].
My father (77 yrs young and very independant) inisited on installing 98se on a new hard drive, which is 20 GB.
In doing so he created a partition of 5 gb in [ I presume] F Disk.
The other 15 GB of course "dissappeared"
I'm trying to talk him into letting me put XP pro on for him.
I presume I can then take the option again and let it recognize the whole 20 GB.
However, he is comfortable with 98SE and if I'm unable to convince him, is there a way to "retrieve" the 15 GB???, within 98 SE.
    Thanks fellas

Yes just go back into Fdisk and reclaim the rest as an extended partition and fill it as a logical drive. As for XP if he don't want it then don't force it on him or it could be the biggest mistake you ever make. :smokin:

The ole bugga is hard to talk around, hehe. I reckon if his memory retention was as good as it used to be he would be running rings around us all with these contraptions.
        Once again Thanks.
Off to have anotha Coopers Wiggo LOL
