GIGABYTE EP43-DS3L *Boot Issue*

Hi guys I have put together a system and have been running it for a few months. When I boot it up it goes through the boot up and just before it goes to the windows (Vista) loading graphic it goes black. The computer does not reset just stays on a black screen. It takes me a few trys turning it on and off before it loads properly. Once it has loaded it works fine play games use graphic software so the graphics card is in working order. I used to the Gygabyte Auto bios update but it did not help in anyway.

My specs are

MB-Gygabyte EP43-DS3L
GC- Gygabyte HD4850 512mb
2gb dual channel DDR2 ram
Intel core duo 3.0ghz
32 bit vista

Any help would really be appreciated this issue is very annoying Cheers.
