Too many wires not enough connectors

I bought an Asus P5KPL-AM motherboard that turned out to be faulty . But, the real problem I had was that My Packard bell J8500 case had 5 front panel connectors for power, audio, usb etc, however my new motherboard only had 4 places to put them. My question is do I have to get a mobo with exactly the same number of front panel sockets as my case, or do I just leave one unplugged?

You can just leave what you are not using disconnected if you like, such as front panel Audio
