I'm wondering what this has to do with anything but we'll let it slide...

it's still just OC'd 6ns chips - memory manufacturers can get away with that until there is an official JEDEC PC3200 spec.
from the reveiws I've seen most Samsung PC2700 stands a good chance of running @ 400MHz eff. too.

                        I won't be buying any PC3200 until it's real 5ns chips ( & when I have a mother board the need 400MHz memory :D)

KingMax has released a true PC3200..meaning it has 5ns memory. However, I found that 99% of the reviewers ((yes, even the ones with the same lot number as the one reviewed here)) say that top notch PC2700 RAM outperforms/overclocks better than KingMax PC3200. Why is that? Shouldn't the PC3200 perform better than the PC2700 at the right conditions: Running at 200 FSB, for example? Yet, the most that Cameron was able to get it to was 217..while the Corsair XMS PC2700 can be overclocked higher, and its only 6ns memory.

yea i'm still confused as to y wideo card RAM is usually so overl****able yet some normal RAM won;t even run at it's certified speed *cough* OCZ*cough* kingmax:bounce: :bounce2: :bounce:

Funny I've never had a Kingmax that wouldn't do the rated speed.
