I am in the market for a new PC....

Hi,
I am in the market for a new PC and would apreciate any information anyone could give me about a good new PC to buy. First of all, I dont want to spend any more that $1500 for a new PC without monitor. Second of all, the processor must be above 2ghz. I would aprecate any information or places where cheap PC's can be bought from that anyone could give me.

Well the most cheapest way to get a great pc for your money is to purchase all the parts seperately.
IE, for a basic pc
Motherboard with on board video and sound
Hard Disk
CPU
CPU FAN
RAM
CASE
Floppy Disk Drive

Oh, sorry if you are new to pcs, you may want to search the forum for another person in NY who knows whats the best for your dollar and what hardware is best for your usage on the pc .They can also help build it, or build it :D

Computer manufacturers charge far too much, in my opinion. Thats why it is far cheaper if you build it yourself.
