Be careful with it though but I'll just move this to the "Other OS" forum though. Oh and I got rid of the other threads too as one is enough. : peace2:

Just to let you know, SP3 for W2k will not upgrade any of the 'abused' registration codes that exist.

has anyone got a list of fixes that it apparently does yet? I don't really wanna install it on 80 machines here at work if it doesn't help me...

I saw the on The Register earlier too. :)

I did post an article in the news a while back listing the huge amount of fixes but atm ya can't navigate back to find it. :(

But not the full picture though. :(

Well I found this that may interest some of you while I was looking unsucessfully for that huge list of bug fixes, Windows 2000 CD SlipStream Guide, which allows you (network admins) to burn a Windows 2000 CD with all service packs included. ;)

Thats not exactly new, its been possible since win2ksp1.

The list of bug fixes still exists @ the MS site, but they categorised it. I hardly think anyone would want to sift through 14+ pages of fixes when one can just click on a category sub-heading and see what was fixed/added.

These may intrest some network admins as well:
                            Win2k SP3 Support Tools
                            Win2k SP3 Deployment Tools
